Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 downloads and caches web files and images, and saves cookies (small files containing data for a specific site) from every website you visit, which helps to load web pages faster improving the browsing experience when you return to the same sites.

The only problem is that caching data and cookies over time can cause issues that may prevent websites from loading correctly on Microsoft Edge. For example, when you try to load a website that has recently been updated, it may look broken on your computer, but it’s not a problem with the site, it’s Microsoft Edge trying to load the site using cached data. However, you can quickly clear the cache and cookies to fix this and other problems.

In this guide, you’ll learn the steps to clear the cache and cookies on Microsoft Edge on your Windows 10 computer.
