How to Change Your Facebook Email on Any Computer

You can change the email addresses associated with your Facebook account from any computer, whether it’s a Mac, Windows, or Linux machine, by using your favorite web browser.

To change your primary email address on Facebook:

• Sign in to your Facebook account and select the down-arrow in the upper-right corner.
• Select Settings & Privacy in the drop-down menu.
• Select Settings in the drop-down menu.
• Select Edit next to Contact.
• In the Contact section, select Add another email or mobile number.
• In the Enter new email box, type your new email address, and select Add.
• Select Close in the pop-up box.
• Once you’re done adding a new email address, Facebook will email you a confirmation message. Click the link in your email to confirm you want to add that email address to your Facebook account.
• As soon as you confirm your new email address, you are redirected to the Facebook Contact section where you will see that your new email address is now your primary Facebook email address.
• Optional: To remove the old email address (or any email address) select Edit next to the Contact tab, and choose Remove under the address you want to remove.

How to Change Your Facebook Email on the Facebook App

To change your Facebook email address on the mobile app:

Sign in to your Facebook account and select the down-arrow in the upper-right corner.

Select Settings & Privacy in the drop-down menu.

Select Settings in the drop-down menu.

Select Edit next to Contact.

In the Contact section, select Add another email or mobile number.

In the Enter new email box, type your new email address, and select Add.
