If you have a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10, you can now officially play Android games as Google launches a new application to run its mobile platform games on Windows devices.
The Google Play Games app is still a close beta, and it’s currently only available in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan. According to the company, the app provides a seamless gaming experience across Windows devices, Chromebooks, tablets, and phones, implying that the app will have cross-platform support, allowing you to resume games on any supported device.
The Google Play Games app, like the Xbox app, will let you browse, download, and play select games on Windows using the mouse and keyboard. Also, the new gaming experience features Play Points that users can earn as they play those Android games.
The app will require a device running Windows 10 2004 or higher, Solid State-Drive (SSD), discrete GPU, a processor with at least eight cores, a minimum of 8GB of RAM, and hardware virtualization.
