Google is rolling out new Spanish language support to its Nest Hub and Hub Max devices in the United States starting today.

The update aims to enhance the user experience by having more queries and displayed text in Spanish, according to Google’s The Keyword blog.

Users can add or change the language to Spanish by going to Languages in Assistant settings, which is located on the Google Home app. Doing so also changes the top navigation tabs and cards on the device into Spanish.

New commands have been made available that the devices can understand, like telling them to play a Spanish rock music playlist or look up Mexican recipes.

Additional commands include telling Google to add items to a shopping list or check who is at the front door via a Nest Camera. Users also can ask the display to try out the popular Mexican Bingo game Lotería. The game comes equipped with a game show host, music, sound effects and is also available in English.

In the update, Google Assistant now has a new bilingual voice functionality that actively teaches users how to correctly pronounce nouns in an authentic accent.

Google recently has been expanding Spanish support on its devices and platforms. The Nest Hub and Hub Max join the existing Spanish support found on the Nest Audio and Mini, and YouTube TV added three new Latin American channels to its base package.
